Meet Our Instructors

Nina Schuyler

Revered writing instructor, Nina Schuyler is a former professor at University of San Francisco, and currently teaches creative writing for Stanford Continuing Studies, Book Passage, and Sibyl Writing Craft. She also facilitates the popular Stunning Sentences Substack. Her fiction has received accolades as well and includes, In This Ravishing World, and the novels, Afterword, The Translator, and The Painting. Her short stories have been widely published and honored.

Jordan Rosenfeld

Jordan Rosenfeld is the author of seven books on the craft of writing including How to Write a Page-Turner, the bestselling Make a Scene, Writing the Intimate Character, A Writer’s Guide to Persistence, Writing Deep Scenes and Write Free. She is also the author of three novels. Jordan’s articles and essays have been widely published. She teaches online writing classes and at numerous writing conferences. Christine Walker

Christine Walker has had a multi-faced career as a strategic visioning facilitator, where she learned the power of clear intentions, questions, skill building and resiliency. She brings her unique approaches in writing craft and creative process—Nine Ways to Mastery, Master Craft Juggling, Read to Write Books—to her role as mentor. A life-long visual artist, she is also the author of A Painter’s Garden: Cultivating the Creative Life, and the novel, Tap Dancing at the Bluebird. She received an MFA in Writing and Literature at Bennington and has taught writing courses in bookstores, community venues, and online.
